Description

Here is a beautiful pair of Mokume Gane men's cufflinks. Mokume is a Japanese technique in which different colors of metal are soldered, hammered or rolled, and layered again and again to create a swirled design on the surface of the metal from the different colors.

These have a satin finish.

Here I used silver and copper and then oxidized the copper to stand out against the silver.

I chose a simple circle shape because I believe the mokume design can stand on it's own and doesn't need a complicated form.
